FOR SALE - Lathe

Clausing Model 6913 lathe with 3 Jaw chuck and tool post holder.
This is a 14 inch lathe with 3 Hp motor.
Has standard threading gearbox, plus dual carriage feed (for longways and cross slide), and variable speed drive system.
This Clausing is in very good condition. Ways are very nice and overall has been well maintained.
I have 3 lathes in my home shop and am downsizing, so this one is surplus to my needs.
I have been running it using my rotary convertor. It is wired for 3 phase 220 Volts.
This is an American made machine.
Anyone that knows machines recognizes that Clausing is one of the best.
I can provide additional pictures on request.
I have a utility trailer so could deliver (but we would need to first agree on delivery cost).
I also have a Production Rotary Tail Stock for sale and am willing to offer it for an additional $350.00.

FOR SALE - Setco Slider

A not-for-profit group I belong to has for sale a pair of Setco dovetail sliders which can be used separately or mounted one atop the other to form an XY table or stage.  They align with dowel pins.  The model is M33L-MOD-200 and the specifications can be seen at http://tiny.cc/ViEvn .

The mounting plates are 8” square and have 8” of travel.  Hand wheels are graduated 0-100 , 0.001” per division and 0.1” per rotation.  There is about 0.005” of backlash in the hand wheels.  It uses an Acme feed screw and has adjustable gibs and locks.  They weigh about 66 pounds each and could be shipped UPS, etc. if packaged separately.

The tables are in good to excellent condition.  They were used in an optical testing facility for alignment, etc. and were not used in a machining environment.  There is some very light surface discoloration on the tables and dovetails.  This should clean up very easily.  

I was told that the pair cost $3135 new in 2002.  The group is asking $1300 OBO for the pair plus the cost of shipping.  They can be inspected by persons seriously interested or picked up in Danbury, CT.  Thank you!
